With nearly two decades of experience as a licensed Realtor and Broker, Kat Rhea brings a rare and powerful blend of expertise in & out of the real estate industry, uniting a creative vision, business acumen, and a deep understanding of the market coupled with extensive expertise.

Before transitioning into real estate, Kat established herself as a Licensed Interior Designer in Houston, Texas. As founder of House of Rhea, she led a firm offering comprehensive turnkey services in interior design, home staging, architecture, construction, renovation, project management, and landscaping. Her design background still shapes her approach today, enabling her to transform spaces and position properties for maximum impact in a competitive market.

Originally from Mobile, Alabama, Kat moved to Houston after marrying her husband, Dr. Kenneth Rhea. In 2006 they relocated from Houston to Louisiana in search of a place to raise their family and ultimately retire. Captivated by the culture, cuisine, and community, they made Louisiana their permanent home.

After launching a successful retail furniture and design boutique on the Northshore, Kat began working closely with Realtors and Builders, offering expert staging services. She personally trained over 2,000 real estate agents throughout Louisiana, forming lasting industry relationships and discovering her passion for real estate. When Hurricane Katrina destroyed her retail space, Kat made a decisive pivot. She obtained her real estate license and soon began practicing full-time. In her very first year, she was honored as "Rookie of the Year" and inducted into the Million Dollar Club.

Today, Kat is the Broker and President of Kat Rhea – Real Estate Services, serving clients across the Northshore and Greater Baton Rouge. Her firm specializes in residential sales, investment properties, land acquisitions, rentals, staging, design, renovation, and new construction. She is also the President and a founding member of "Living Bread," a food outreach for children and is firmly committed in creating and keeping a meaningful community engagement.
